  This weeks congregation "bible" study! Mosaic law

  the "study" material this week is so insane!.

  comparisons are made between modern laws and the mosaic law, and how these ancient laws are far superior.... where do i start!???!.

  Any teaching which is based on a belief which collapses in the face of evidence to the contrary.

  Only delusion / brainwashing could possibly make a jw ( or other theists ) adhere to such teachings.

  well that's what they claim anyway.

  The watchtower is playing the same game as others operating in the world.

  Gustv's comments have only served to confirm it.

  The illusion of being 'no part of this worlds wicked system ' is laughable and completely bogus!!

  Only a deluded fool would try to defend the watchtower by actually passing it's revealed hypocritical scandals which they would rather had been hidden, as ' just business '.

  My response would be, no yoy do not NEED organised rekigion.

  What you absolutely HAVE is your life to live as you decide within the framework of a standard which does not bring deliberate grief or terror to your fellows, family and friends.

  Definately no NEED for organised or otherwise religion or imo supernatural belief conjured by men with a motive/agend to live a good life.

  i was baptized at the age of 11. like most of us, my commitment wasnt to honor god but rather i was gang pressed into the service of the wtbts.

  and, at such a young age, it was impossible for me to appreciate the enormity of my actions.

  honestly, how could i possibly have known any better?

  i guess you can tie jehovahs, and any other organized religion with this:.

  "if your religion makes you think any people are spiritually inferior to others or.... if your science makes you think some class of people mentally inferior to others or.... if your politics makes you think some people should be politically inferior to others.... .

  then you are doing it wrong and you need to rethink your philosophy from first principals.

  There's a vast difference between thinking someone or whatever belief is wrong and actually and absolutely being wrong.

  Whatever category religion, science or politics, there will always be argument, debate, discussion.

  But to fly in the face of proven evidence is to be wrong and many deluded are in this category citing faith as their reasoning.

  Literally before we wake up from sleep , we may have had a wonderful dream where the impossible seems blissfully real.

  Unfortunately the reality of full consciousness makes us face the hard realities of life.

  How we handle this is the key to happines albeit no ones life is a bed of rosies.

  This is the position you're in.

  The world is your oyster!... go for it!!
