What allows parents to shun their children ?

my son, went to college and got his bachelors degree.

he started his own anmation company about two years ago, and it really has taken off.. while my wife and i were witnesses, we both received grief about allowing our son to go to college, but we stood up for him and backed his decision to attend 110%.. anyway, this past week he finally closed on a very nice, neat condiminium .. and while he is getting ready to move out on his own, i have quite a few feelings of sadness,as a parent, seeing him move on is kinda rough, but realizing that this is a very good thing for him makes it easier.

he will only be about 7 miles away.

Data D . I agree ,"No natural affection". I am currently shunned by my father he maintains his reasoning is religious?.I.e JW religious. Get this my brother who is an elder does not agree with him, my sister who is jw does not agree with him .The elders in his cong' have counselled him and told him he is wrong, because I am not seen as a "brother". But still he persists that I'm not welcome in his home to visit my elderly mother who loves when I visit .His mind is well and truly screwed and fundementaly of course it is because of his association with this crazy cult .So sad.

A young 'brother' I was friendly with many years ago became involved in wife swapping all were JWs. My own younger sister was inappropriately abused by a brother of vary good standing . A so called ' brother' from a jw family is currently in prison for murder and willful kidnapping and torture. My own sister has witnessed inappropriate behaviour between the father and daughter of this same family and reported it to the elders, she stopped attending this cong' as a result.. My freinds wifes father a JW was revealed to be a paedophile abusing his son and daughters for many years. ALL these instances involving 3 cong's within about20 mile radius.

Can Jehovah's witnesses eat halal and kosher meat?

i'm new here, i pretty much created this account cause i couldn't find the answer to my question.

and my question is, can jw eat halal and kosher meat?

i was searching online but all i found was that jw dont have any food restrictions besides consuming blood.. if someone can answer my question, please and thank u!.

Mr Mclean said "NOTHING! that has blood in it do we eat " He is the Jw spokesman when he said NOTHING what did he mean?. Without splitting hairs to me that means NOTHING!. If I said I will breath absolutely NO poison gas, does that mean I'll only breath a little?? I would suggest I am not belittling the JWs they do a good enough job of that themselves!!!.

Saulo..."they don't intentionally or deliberately eat blood".Is deliberately putting ANY food product in your mouth and consuming it knowing it contains whatever amount of blood not intentionally eating it , it is in my book!

The Pastor of my Old Church Tried to Re-Convert Me Yesterday

yesterday evening my wife and i were invited to friends house for new year's eve.

Everlasting?Who's going to replenish the sun when it eventually loses its potency to keep the earth comfortable for habitation .? This question is for those who adhere to the living in paradise on earth forever ilk. Is god going to be shovelling billions of tons of physical material into it to keep it going the earth wouldn't even survive that scenario.

For those that think they are all going to be in heaven to help god/jesus to rule the earth where are you moving to once the sun and earth and solar system is no more ? Perhaps to some other planet where there are some more miserable sinners to be saved. Wake up!!! You theists / deists you are all thoroughly deceived/ deluded you can have a fulfilled loving happy life without that non....sense.My humble opinion of course..
