i heard some really bad news tonight.
Thanks to all of you who have been praying for my ex. Please continue to keep him in your prayers. I heard some really bad news tonight. His blood level is still dangerously low..somewhere like 3.7...and the doctor's say there's evidence of brain damage. They're keeping him in a coma until his blood level rises. I am just so upset right now. If you would say a quick prayer for me too I'd appreciate it.

hi all
i have some really crappy news my friend, J, the jehovah's witness i had dated off and on was in a motorcycle accident last night. he's pretty bad off. broke both legs..lost a lot of blood. from what i heard, he's stable now but he's got a ways to go before he's in the clear. if you're of the praying persuasion, id appreciate it if you'd remember him in your prayers..if not, id appreciate it if you'd send some positive thoughts his way. thanks everyone.

after a year's hiatus i am finally going back.
i'm so anxious, sleep it out of the question.
this first semester i have it easy.. the hard stuff starts in january.. for now:.

i thought about this topic last night for the board when watching one of my favorite movies.. 1. the man from snowy river- the part when they are going after the expensive colt and they get to the edge of the cliff and all the other riders stop and "jim" keeps going and leaps down the cliff after the wild horses.
i absolutely love that part of the movie...everytime its on i have to watch it, if not just to see this part only.. 2. love and basketball- when she tells him she will play for his heart...awwww first time i started crying.
and then the music they had playing in the background made it even worse.
Office Space: when the guys are beating the crap out of the copier.
The Negotiator: when Samuel L. Jackson's character is trying to be 'talked down' from a hostage situation by a rookie negotiator.

honestly guys, i dont want to make it sound like im an idiot and im not clueless. the thing is..at work, people generally get a long and there are a lot of really good friendships btw employees of the opposite sex. so it's not unusual for people to hug or anything like that. that's why im not quick to jump to conclusions about that sort of thing.
b/c this happened today though, i will keep my distance from him and say something to him next time he gets all touch-feely w/ me. im just not one to go 'balls out' on a person. i try to handle all situations delicately and i try to be diplomatic in my approach. thanks for your replies.

the sad thing is guys........
her husband, within like the past couple months or so, has been really, err, friendly to me. i mean, he's nice and everything. but lately, he's been finding reasons to touch me. i was sick in the stomach at work on saturday and he came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my stomach and i almost yakked. but he'll do that..like hug me from behind and think nothing of it. im a pretty trusting person..i like to think that people's intentions are good. it hadnt gotten to the point where i felt i needed to say something. (if he ever said anything sexual to me or anything like that then i definitely would). now, this really has me thinking. i dont know what to do. i dont know if im making a big deal out of nothing or what.

well, this guy is a JW and about a year and half ago he came to my house..granted i was walking out of the house, down the steps, on my way to my car to go to class, and he stops me and starts talking to me. he recognizes me from work and introduces himself. ( i hadnt recalled ever seeing him) anyway, i told him i HAD TO GO TO CLASS and he kept talking to me!! that's besides the point. anyway, the class i was going to was a world religion class and we had to do a research paper on any religion of our choosing. i knew a fair bit of info about the JWs from dating one for a few years so i decided id do my paper on them. since i didnt want to ask my ex for any of his books or mags..i ended up asking my co-worker and he gave me a crapload of stuff for me to use. that was over a year ago.
so i was completely caught off guard when his wife called me today and asked me how i know her husband. im sure i sounded like a complete twit as i tried to explain how i knew him and why he had my number. i dont know if i convinced her or not. she kept saying what a good man her husband is and that she trusts him and blah blah blah. i told her that i was sorry that this worried her.
ugh, she wasnt rude to me or anything but ive never been in a situation like that before. talk about nerve-racking.
i dont have much time to watch a lot of tv b/c im so busy w/ work and school but i am obsessed with monk and i have to watch it every friday night.
i even hate making plans friday nights cuz i dont like to miss it...what a dork, i know.
i also like family guy on cartoon network...so hilarious.

Blondie: I usually watch the Monk rerun on Wednesday too! Im so stuck in my Friday routine though of coming home from work about 9:30...changing into PJs, making a snack, and watching my Monk
Sweetp: I love watching I the 80s, and 90s on Vh1. I've probably seen the I love the 80s ones about a dozen times already.
