in a letter in the 2013 yearbook of jehovah's witnesses, the governing body sign off with the words, "we love you all very much".
these words were later echoed by one of the governing body in an address to french jehovah's witnesses in july this year.
these words sound so marvellously compelling and heartfelt - goosebump inducing, even.. imagine the governing body wrote these words to you or expressed them to you in person- yes to you reading these very words.
You have got to be sh*tting me
i overheard this argument re the new tract campaign.
one elder told a publisher, to hide the tract in the mailbox if the home owner wasn't home.
the publisher was used to folding the tip of the tract, and just left a tip showing.

This kind of advice is a predictable outcome when janitors and window washers run the show. Dumbasses
Funny...Dumb ASAP ASAPs..lol
it's been quite a while since i lasted posted anything on jwn.
i was in hiding previously, but only because i wanted to avoid the shun gun until i had the opportunity to tell my former congregation what i think about the org./gb.
i last attended a meeting over 2.5 years ago but it wasn't until june--when i earned my bachelor's degree--that i finally had the time to collect my thoughts and get them down on paper...i decided to write my letter in a style i felt would be most appealing to my target audience--jw's still under gb mind control --in the hope that at least a few would read it and actually "think".
Congrats on earing your degree...I know that feeling it's a sense of accomplishment
the influx of new posters made me wonder if the push to view jw.org is helping curious ones find this support site?.
please post whether you found jwn during an internet search or if someone told you about it.. i myself was directed here by a df'd family member once i shared my doubts with that person..
A Circuit Assembly brought me here about 4 years ago...I lurked for all those years and then joined...slow I know don't laugh
i mean what if a government decided to internally deport its jehovah's witnesses and give them their own independent country.
"here, since you say we are of satan, we're giving you a few square miles so lets see how much better a job your theocracy does, and this way you can't spread your religion.
" i'm surprised russia didn't try that.
They would raise their hands for everything and wait to be called on
comments?.

@210...ha..ha.. Thanks needed that. So true
jws look down on others for saying, "bless you" if someone sneezes.
it has something to do with the demons.
another example is that it is considered satanic if a man took his hat off for a lady!
When I was growing up...not wearing stockings out in field service or at the hall....and it be hot as heck, but we still had to look modest..Wow
different kind of feelings.. i've been living with my new partner 10 months and his family has adopted me as a new son.
i'm sad not having my family here with me but love, kindness and feelings from my new family fill all i have lost.. a nice chocolate cake, a present (a new watch), many greetings and wishes from friends, a nice dinner with my boyfriend.. who said this was wrong?.
Happy Birthday...enjoy parties are always fun with birthday cake
.
i'm really looking forward to what the day may bring...... wish you were here to share it with me..
Happy B-day...it's all about you today so make it a great one...Happy Birthday
