  Ladies: Circumcision or not?

  the topic of circumcision has been brought up a few times recently.

  then i wondered... .

  how do women really view circumcision?

  I really really DID NOT want to have my first son circumcised. I thought it was unecessary but my husband did not want his sons to feel different from him since he was circumcised and since we were full blown JWs at the time I had to submit. Being post partum and emotional i cried hard after it was done. It was so distressing to hear my son screaming, even now thinking about it I cringe. Of course I ended up having all boys so I had to go through it 2 more times! Although it got easier with each one.

  As far as preference I don't have experience with uncircumcised but I have seen porn videos of uncut and I will say it looked like the ladies struggled more giving BJ'S with the extra skin so maybe I feel fortunate to have a circumcised hubby.

  Memorial 2016

  the memorial is on march 23 this year.

  but all the official jewish calendars has nissan 14 as april 22!

  april 22 is the start of passover!

  What?! How did they get so off. And my kitchen calendar says passover is April 23rd. Is it 23 after sundown starts Nissan 14 or 22nd after sundown. Jewish days are sunset to sunset right?

  What's a word that describes the way Witnesses behave as a group?

  i can't recall the word that describes a group that keeps to itself like the witnesses do.

  i thought it was "insular" but i don't think that's the one i'm looking for after reading the definition.

  i remember an elder using the word "clannish" and that has the proper definition but it reminds me of a group of elves.

  Where Are You From?

  alot of members don't have a flag or country name beside their user name, and well frequently one doesn't know where that particular person is from, tell us your country, state, county or what ever you feel like giving out.

  if you are going to post please at least devulge your country.. me, i'm originally from taranaki, new zealand via auckland.

  Good news to report: Congregations merged because lack of attendance, publishers & field service

  so it's official, i am happy to report that we merged with another congregation having the same problem.

  why is it good news???

  because people are either waking up, fading or just not buying into this organization any longer or walking away.... i think many young ones are just not buying into it as much, i see many in the congregation i go to very depressed and some i know personally going thru major depression especially the young "sisters" in their early 20s.... .

  Damn, wish I had wanted to DA at the time I fully woke up. I would have done this same thing but with more finesse. More along the lines of what luther did in nailing his 95 theses to the catholic churchs door. Yep they have been weighed and judged and found lacking.
