Cruithne,
Welcome back to the board!
Prudence
hello, new member here.. i registered a couple of years ago, but my initial experiences here were not of the warm/fuzzy variety, which must have been what i needed at the time; so, i left.
recenty, a friend gently suggested that i might want to give interacting here a second try.. so's i don't have to type it twice, i offer here a hyperlink to my member profile.. although one might reasonably be named "cruithne" - especially if one is irish or scottish - it is not my real name.
well, of course it is my real name, in that i choose to be known by it.
Cruithne,
Welcome back to the board!
Prudence
.
today i found out through my ex sisters-in-law that my jw daughter, heather is engaged and will be getting married on september 21. i am not invited.. estee
Estee,
A Hug for you
Prudence
He looks like my ex-husband, really.
holy christ, was that scarey!!
i had just left work shortly after 4:00pm on thursday, and we were in the elevators when suddenly everything went black!!
thank god there were only 4 of us in the elevator, but just the same, after about 10 minutes, we started getting scared and yelling for help (i work on the 15th floor).
Mary,
What a nighmare,I'm glad to hear that you are ok.
Prudence
you and i have had very little contact, but i would just like to say to you, that you have been kind to me and so many others.
i am terribly sorry that you are in pain, and i hope that you find the answers and a solution this coming week.. often we over-look those that are meek and kind.
you will be in the thoughts of my family this weekend as we travel.
Lady Lee,
I'm sorry to hear about the pain you are having, and the jerk doctor (another royal pain in my book).
The temporay parking permit sounds more encouraging doesn't it? The folding -chair is good idea for the extra support you need at times,
unlike the doctor (oh, did I say that?) I hope they can figure out what is going on soon. I will be thinking of you.
Love, Prudence
i've just watched "a beautiful mind", with russell crowe, on video.. i loved it, even though i was moved to tears.
believe me when i say that's an accolade.
last time i got near to that was seeing "dead poet's society" and "awakening" with robin williams, on the big screen (1989/90 respectively?
Great movie and I like the other two as well.
i got to hear some real bad news
i was speaking to my 'best friends' sister only minutes ago.
my 'best friend' i used to do everything with.
P.S.
As you can see by all the posts, you are loved and about very much here !

Hamas,
I'm sorry to hear about the way your friend is treating you, but I believe
it is the cult mentality that is speaking for him.
since before a witness gets baptized, they are told to "be no part of this world".
that is beaten into everyone's head.
now that you're not a jw or are on the way out, how does being part of the "world" feel?
Yes! I am able to do the things I really like to do, and I now have the time to do them. I have friends and family that are good people and fun to be with. It feels great to be out of the Organization and I will never go back.
Rayzor,
I saw outlines of people, lots of them, walking in the middle of the street, street corners, and lots of drug-related jargon. The area: Queen & Sherbourne - is not a pretty place. One of the poorest and drug riddled areas of the city. You will/can get mugged, raped and murdered there, and it has happened. So here I am on my bike, and they're saying things like: 'get m', 'here's one'...so I had my trusty muscular legs ready and I was ready to give them ALL a good hoof. I yelled at one crackhead, as I dogged around him/her, as they made an attempt to grab at me. Freaky!
I'm so glad you are alright! I think my heart rate just went up as I read your account. I bet it was very FREAKY!
