Third generation jw. DAed in 1993. Grew up in Massachusetts, Hyde Park cong. Lived all over the country as a jw. California, Martha's Vineyard, Florida. Moved back to MA in 2001. I have 2 grown children, both of them out of the borg...4 grandchildren who will live their lives free of jw influence. No family left in the borg...mom and dad, grandparents and all other jw family members have died, I was an only child...so the watchtower no longer has any hold over me. Life is good.

Same as 144001. I started on this site using this screen name. I abandoned it shortly thereafter because I wanted an easier log-in and began using the 144001 id. Since the site upgrade, it appears the system determined that both IDs are mine, so it has switched me to the original ID. When I try to log in to 144001, it logs me into this account instead, which is ok with me, since login remains simple.

I was raised in the Jdub religion but started to fade after the 1975 fiasco. I have made a complete break the last 20 years. Although there never is a complete break when I still have family in the cult.
