Words changed when Russell's predictions failed

  None of Russell’s predictions came to pass, so they altered offending words in his books and then continued to sell them. I created a file showing about 15 corresponding pages from “Millennial Dawn” and “Studies in the Scriptures” where key words were amended. There are probably more that I don't know about.

  Today, Witnesses are told that 1914 was a year “marked” by Russell, but they are not told that Russell expected an outbreak of enduring PEACE with 1914 under the auspices of fleshly Jews.

  The SS I used were published in 1924, so I would like to know if we can find the first time that each alteration was made.

  A bit of historical trivia: I made these photocopies in the 1970s at the State Library of Victoria in Melbourne (Australia). That's why they are showing their age.

  The MD books were donated to the Library by the WTBTS (Australasian Division) on 28th December 1905. I presume Henninges was in Melbourne at the time.

  The SS books were donated to the State Library (but I do not know by whom) in 1928.

  So, I wonder if we can start a search for each of these pages in MD and SS to determine the earliest that each change was made?
