I just ordered a copy (note: it is a copy, an exact replica) I think I got it off of LuLu. It was under 9-10 dollars. The copyright ran out so they could reprint it.

That's not a teaching lime05. They believe they die as to the world , such as not having involvement with the political wild beast of revelation ( which of course they were found out to have a swinging affair with for 10 years ) . The whole doctrine is absurd when looked at with scrutiny . The belief though is that those alive when the messianic kingdom arrives and the world powers are destroyed that are found faithful and true can exit the current world and live forever in paradise . That's why rutherford said "millions now living will never die".

it does sound absurd. who is actually 'the faithfull and discreet slave' if its not the govererning body of jehovahs witnesses.

That's the big question . Just because they claim to be does not mean they are . The apostle Paul may have fit the description . Many times he did claim to provide spiritual food for the congregations . I just don't get where jesus would pick crack pots like russell and rutherford for the job . About the only thing they got right was that christians should not be involved with conventional warfare . I think russell was a trinitarian and they still celebrated christmas and what have ya and used the cross .
