We are in Wisconsin and it's been a very dry, hot summer. Soybeans did great, but not the corn. Sorry you had so much rain!! juni
After 9 days of rain, it finally stopped! Anyone had flooding problems?

This is day number 14 here and still counting. It is very depressing.
Wow, Fairchild, that IS depressing. I'd be fit to be tied, if I had rain that long. We were alll starting to lose it by the 8th day, as it was. Hope you see the sun soon.

Hubert...it's been raining here in NE Mass for several days now...so far, I'm lucky (can I say that?)...just some light dampness so far inmy unfinished basement...keeping a close eye on ot though as we have had some water problems in the past...I know what it's like to be tired and sore from bailing water...now the rain has stopped for the time being anyway...hope the worst of your problem is over.

I didn't directly have problems...but my sister's appartement (basement) got flooded. Now I am stuck with her two cats and I've already got two. That's right for little devils in one place.lol

Yes, we've got to get the roof repaired. We had torrential downpours a couple of weeks ago and the water's leaked in the roof.......I gotta call the insurance company this morning........thanks for reminding me!

sigh.. another day and still raining. The only reason why I don't pack up and move is because my books might get wet should I move them in the rain. Day number 15 (fifteen) of rain.

Lol, auld soul. Yes, the computer is still working, and I'm surprised at that. Ever since I had my phone connected, the line tends to die when it rains too much. Since I have dial up connection... blah blah blah.. I have called the phone company numerous times over the years. And each time, the phone would be working again before they showed up. So now I don't bother calling them anymore, but it is prolly only a matter of time before the line goes dead again.
I just checked the weather *again* for tomorrow, but all they do is promise us more rain, and then some more.. I'm going to buy a rain coat and just work outside in the rain..
