Liquidsky, I am so sorry for your loss.We have a cockatiel. She is my daughters bird, but has bonded with me. She is so very sweet, and talks up a storm. She is only 1 year old this month. I can't imagine losing her. HL

OH thats so sad, I didn't realize they could live so long, a big hug to you, she was a "pretty bird"

Thank you.
She was young actually. Parrotlets live to be 20-30 years old. She became very ill and died suddenly. It was very unexpected.

I loved having birds as companions. They were so affectionate and their songs always cheered me up. It was hard losing them suddenly.
