I know... some of you must be getting tired of my talking about my new car... but this is my first *new* car and I'm all excited about it.
Today I looked at the Owners Lounge website that lets me see the progress of my car and the status has changed from On Order to Scheduled for Production!
This means that the car should start being assembled around Oct. 31.
The car sould be delivered in December... It'll be my personal Christmas present to myself.
Elsewhere! Now that is one thing I will not call you geeky about! I love mini's.
You I just love geeks too, so don't take it badly ok?

actually your quest for compact wheels (& the fact that i've had it since teenhood and it's having problems) has me all inspired to ditch my 95 cabrio for a, deep breath, 06 GTI!!! have you seen the new body style on the new pocket rocket? totally bitchin. but it doesnt come out in the states until god only knows when. :( "sometime next year," as they say at VW-land. i hope i change my mind by then. $$

congrats man! those are pretty sweet cars. unfortunately, there are only a certain number of chicks you can fit in them, but whatever, i guess one chick at a time is good enough.
BTW, what is Minimus doing dancing in your post? is he a car salesman?
