Yay! it takes a little getting used to, the idea that 'worldy people' can be nice and kind.

I think you have great ex workmates , they seem to have understood the situation. perfectly

LOL I agree, henceforth birthdays must be celebrated for a whole week to make up for a lifetime of none.

Wow, that is special though, a very happy un-birthday to you, can you imagine how much you're gonna love your real birthday in june now?

How lovely! A very Happy Unbirthday to you, to you! ( that's from Alice in Wonderland you know, are jw kids allowed to read that?) I bet they had as much fun in planning this for you as you had!

I'm still not used to "worldly" people being nice and normal. But I'm getting used to it.

Yeah, for unwitting-devil-worshippers, worldly folk aren't too bad, are they?

Too cool, TP. Thanks for sharing!

My former colleagues at the clinic I used to work at took me out for lunch today. What I didn't know was that they'd arranged a "birthday" party for me. Although my birthday isn't until June they wanted to celebrate the 25 birthdays I've missed while a jw. So they had a bunch of gifts for me.

Now that is what I call "true friends". That was so awesome of them to recognize all the b-days you missed.
