  So in Britain the figures are ...........drum roll.............

  1991............peak pubs.....125,836.................av pubs.....118,100

  2000............peak pubs.....126,297.................av pubs.....120,592

  So in 9 years (I havent got the 2001 numbers) they gained 461 av pubs,,,,,,,,,,,,this amazing feat was reached because in an average year.............ill quote 2000.......the total hours were.........18,484,412

  Now math is my worst subject, surely this cant be right, I must have calculated it wrong ????????
