  So just so we're all clear:

  1. It is unknown how God's name should be pronounced since God himself didn't see fit to make sure we could figure it out.
  2. From what trace evidence there is, Yahweh is acknowledged to be the more accurate
  3. Though he didn't preserve his name, it is nonetheless vitally important that we know and use god's name.
  4. God's name is Jehovah because the dictionary says so.

  Ok. Gotcha. :-)

  Welcome Smudge and it's good that you are stubborn otherwise you would have been victimised by the this cult long ago.
  
  The fact that they call themselves as jehovah's (or even Yahweh's) witnesses rather that Jesus's witnesses speaks volumes about their unchristian nature. You must have realised by now that they hardly ever use the name Jesus, they are Jehovah's people, they suffer for jehovah's name, it is with jehovah's help that they achieve something etc. Jesus was dethroned by them and they refuse to accept as him Lord contrary to what the apostles decreed. Sounds like a judaising religion.
  
  It is interesting that the Jews who should more properly (compared to the bible students of Rutherford)call themselves Jehovah's witnesses never did so. And it may not be a coincidence that Jehovah is the top word in the occultic, anti christian, free masonry organisation.
