So Sky News is running the lead story that Brown's emails reveal an official completely out of touch while New Orleans was devastated!

It seems everyone should be careful what they write in emails - especially if you're in government!

    Dear Mr Bush

You and Tony are both inept idiots and lying fools.

Gee, I hope this information doesn't get out!"

I told my sister (who voted for Bush TWICE) about the e-mails...had her go online to read them and she was beside herself with the stupidity shown in these e-mails. In fact, she looked at one point like she was going to cry. Any sympathies she's held onto I think have faded since reading all this yesterday.

Well, the fact is he wasn't qualified for the job. However, I don't agree with demonizing him for doing the very best he was capable of (which amounted to damn all). Unlike the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses, Brown didn't appoint himself to a position of which he couldn't fulfill the responsibilities.

The screw-ups were Brown's, but the fault was putting him in that position. We all know who did that.

true AS...at the same time...I've was offered a job a couple months ago I knew I was not qualified for and told those offering the job to me that I wasn't qualified for it. Sure it offered money that I wish I was making BUT I didn't know crap about the position and figured if I took it...sooner or later something would happen involving the position offered to me and since I didn't know how to do it--I shouldn't take it.

....and it had nothing to do with emergency government sevices.

AND (just to add) I'm don't let Bush off on anything....all I'm saying is although I know it's hard to pass up a job paying a lot of money--it can be done. It's true it shouldn't have been offered in the first place (and Bush should be held accountable for this) BUT STILL if all you know is arabian horse judging you should know you won't be able to deal with a federal emercency.and decline the job offer however hard it is....

    Just my opinion.
