I suppose they are a bit like REM, the former lead singer, Natalie Merchant, was Michael Stipe's girlfriend for a while. Actually, I hadn't heard them till dedpoet introduced me to them, but I love them now.

Yes, dedpoet has a track with him and Natalie Merchant singing a duet of "To Sir With Love" in around 1999, and they were an item then. Not now though.

Lola I don't go for chinese food unless homemade and without MSG Fullofdoubtnow, I remember their late 70's song "because the night belongs to us" I used to like it a lot.

They are still around, lola, but Natalie Merchant left some years ago to go solo, dedpoet has some of her solo stuff and it's good. She was the main songwriter, and the stuff they did after she left isn't all that great.

Yes, they made their first album with Natalie in 1985. It was called "The Wishing Chair". Natalie left after "Our Time In Eden", in 1993. Deepoet reckons that's their best album.
