Of course not, nothing is exclusive! My point was that it enables it and encourages it by males, not that they are the only ones! I had plenty from my mom as did all of my family, trust me I do know it exists. My mother was one of the most physically and verbally abusive people I know and when she couldn't do it either of those ways she was a master at passive aggression especially in the congregation.
