I would think that it would be tough to get good shots with a digital unless you've got a really hi tech one. I have a 4 megapixil and it has a close up feature on it but I dont think that it would do a snow flake justice.
Mine is the same. It will be tough.

CW: Great pics! For me they're challenging and I'd like to meet the challenge! Some day soon, I wish I was in your part of this glorious globe. Dreams are made to come true, aren't they? You'll be amongst the first to know when we know we can make the journey to your country. How I miss it! BTW please give the love of Mrs Ozzie and I to Vivamus. Cheers, Ozzie
Beautiful pictures, Country Woman...but I'm so not ready for snow yet!
Ozzie's post reminds me of a lady that I work with who is from Africa. One day, she said she seen this white stuff coming from the sky. She called her husband, who was at work, and said honey there's something white falling from the sky. He had to tell her that it was snow! She went outside and marveled at it. Took pictures of it and sent it to her family back in Africa. She thought it was just awesome! Just like manna from heaven!
We've got about 6 inches here in Shania Twain country. It's supposed to warm up over the week-end,hopefully most of it will melt before the real winter sets in.
Up here they call snow white gold because it draws a lot of snowmobile tourists who come up and spend a lot of money on the sport.
