The first time I saw it - it was funny, but leaving the theater it was also a feeling of - what the hell was that? I think I have seen it like 10 more times since then - it gets funnier everytime.

Laughed all the way through it. The reasons I liked it were probably identical to the reasons some of you hated it. There's nothing quite like a smart, self-confident clueless geek. He really did have mad skillz too, just not the ones he thought he had. ("This [milk sample] tastes like the cow got into an onion patch.")

I loved it! I watch it over and over.

Hated it!!! My 2 sons couldn't stand it either and they both have very different personalities. I expected 1 of them to like it. It was just boring and unfunny.
Saying that, I have friends that liked it and I respect that.

I really like it. Not in love, but if you wanna watch it, I don't mind watching it again.
I hated it. I live in a town very close to the town and high school the movie was shot about so alot of us up here in Northern Idaho hate it.
My kids thought it was just GREAT.
Hated it....he resembled FAR too closely, a cousin of mine, in looks and deeds.....(shudders) but my boys loved it....kept repeating, "you're such an idiot!" for weeks on end....
It was alright. I think it got more praise than it deserved, however.
I {heart} Huckabees was far better, for example, and got much less attention.
I LOVED IT!! Laughed myself silly.
