Public Speaker-No call no show

  Our hall was a long way from no where. It probably happened about 3 or 4 times a year. I always used to say at the end of the watchtower.

  "In about 15 or 20 minutes lets all just gather at the front of the hall and meet back for FS. We would still be here anyway if the speaker had shown up plus we are already dressed for the ministry, so lets give the rest of the morning to Jehovah anyway."

  Sure enough most everyone would be shamed into staying for the meeting for FS and then go out and do "calls"

  Man I sucked.

  Boy, IPSec, you were a real killjoy! Glad you're here with us now, the cong. maybe will be able to get a break once in awhile.

  I just cringe when I think back on things we were overzealous about. But, I have to say, getting out of meetings early wasn't one of them.
