Frog. I'm for nature. The comfort I have is knowing what is said in Rev.11:18 mankind's Creator is "... going to bring to ruin those ruining the earth."

Mine: "Your ecological footprint is estimated to be 6.8 hectares (16.7 acres). If everyone in the World lived lived like you we would need 3.6 Planets to support global consumption." Mine is slightly lower because I don't drive and I recycle; if I were a vegetarian, it would be even better. ;)

rwagoner, yes it seems you with the aware for JWD's biggest "future eater"!...unfortunately there's no award...

we could be doing things better. no doubt. the reason we don't is because of the low percentage of smart apes, to the masses of dumb ones. and of the smart ones, there are too few who care.

i am having a harder and harder time caring lately. but then, that said, my footprint is actually pretty small. i just don't believe in humans anymore.

ts, I guess becoming god of the hairless apes isn't all that it cracked up to be?:(...while I concur on your feelings, from a purely selfish perspective I prefer it when you preach optimism rather than misanthropy:)...but then who am I to talk?!

    wooooo hoooooo !

No worries on the award...I'll just drive the old SUV an hour or so to my favorite Steakhouse and treat myself. Never can finish more than half of it but its damn good. Supposed to be cold tonight so I better jack the oil furnace up before we leave, I'll get those storm windows on one of these days. Well..time to drag the trash to the curb...all the cans, bottles and newspapers take a few trips.

    Thanks again.
