Yesterday, I had to change a faucet, and remove an old carpet in the living room. That carpet was about 25 years old. You should have seen the dust under that carpet that I had to pick up. The carpet was disintegrating underneith. Now, I'm waiting for the carpet company to come over today and measure what I need, and come and install a new carpet this week.
The landlord is paying

I work weekends -
Friday 13 hours.
Saturday 14 hours.
Sunday 14 hours.
Glad it is my weekend.

Saturday we worked on the house and the truck & car - oil changes, flush the cooling system etc...I made fudge, rice crispy treats, peanut brittle and chocolate chip cookies.
Trying out some new recipes for the Christmas treats I will be giving a lot of our friends.
On Sunday we took the boys to the Mystic Aquarium. I love the Beluga Whales they are so beautiful!

The weekend was good I guess. Cleaned the abomination known as the house on saturday...I got the kitchen and the stairs vacuumed. Yeah me! Went to a Bar-Mitzvah Saturday night. That was fun...I know the kid from Karate...his father is a big hot-shot lawyer in the area...spared no expense...so it was good food and fun...I guess? :)
Sunday I worked. A lot...but did pretty well serving so it was a good day. Spent the rest of the evening in my nightgown, watching TV. (Gotta catch my Grey's Anatomy, yo.) Also watched a PBS show about Animals detecting natural disasters...VERY interesting.

Friday night - fell asleep on the couch with the boy.
Sat. - Oil change. Bought the kid and I a couple of new PC games and him a hoodie and a turtleneck.
Sat. night - Hung out with my peeps, had some beer, did some flirting, got some back.
Sun. - Me and my sister took our families to Chuck E. Cheese's for her youngest daughter's b-day.
Sun. night - Boy's bath night, played games, watched the first half of Dirty Pretty Things with Audrey Tatou (she is just too cute!)
Daystar does your son have a name or are we going to go all Homer Simpson and just call him "the boy" forever?
