"Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away." Matthew 24:35

This is speaking about THE word of God, the bible.

Can you say this about the myriad of countless numbers of books and various publications published by the WTS?

Due to the passage (of their short amount) of time and their "new light"...how long do THEIR "words" last?

What is causing the most dissension is the totally unscriptural and terrible faulty mistakes taught by the WTS as food from God, that must be understood and obeyed as such.

The bible itself has NOT been responsible for teaching falsehood and being forced to recant what it said a few years later, through the arrogant imperfect men who have been proven to speculate on many things and offer their own private thoughts on scripture.

Don't you find it absolutely amazing that "the bible" needs SO MANY BOOKS for it to be "properly understood"? The WTS seems to think so and so does its followers. (see Eccles 12:12 on this idea)

The underlying problem is the WTS and NWT. The WTS uses false doctrine and then "support it" by their own corrupt NWT. Hand in glove and all that.

For example:

"And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
Acts 13:48 KJV

"When those of the nations heard this, they began to rejoice and to glorify the word of Jehovah, and all those who were rightly disposed for everlasting life became believers."
Acts 13:48 NWT

Hmmm.....that verse was changed almost completely.
Why?

(This is only a grain of sand compared to the whole currupt sandpile of the NWT.)

REMEMBER THIS-----
Watchtower, Oct. 1, 1967, page 587 stated:

"Thus the Bible is an organizational book and belongs to the Christian congregation as an organization, not to individuals, regardless of how sincerely they may believe that they can interpret the Bible. For this
reason the Bible cannot be proper understood without Jehovah's visible organization in mind."

Anyone care to discuss THIS "teaching"????????

Most JW apolegists pick and choose which doctrines and teachings to defend; if they are faced with a conflicting question or one they have no answer for they dodge it or throw in a red herring.

Sigh.......I know. I have several threads that I have posted on a religious board (JW debate) and get the same type of response......

I just thought I'd try and see if any JW would step up and answer.....

I have become so frustrated trying to get a straight answer from these apologists that I just refuse to pay them any attention anymore.

They refuse to reason. They resort to personal attack, red herring, or circular reason in nearly each case.

Yet, everytime certain ones pop in with the most inane of ideas they get 8 pages of replies as if they are best friends with all these people here.

That I don't get at all. Defd and friends would not even speak to us in person, yet they get back slapped everytime they appear.

I haven't been here too much lately, so I don't "know" who is a JW or not. (SO many new names! LOL!) I did remember that DFed was a JW, so I kinda directed it at him.

JWs know what the KMs have said, and they know how the GB feels about them being here, but deep down they want to interact with us...or they wouldn't be here. As long as they are comfortable with their defiant attitude on the expected obedience the WTS demands...the better! Like they say "its no skin off MY nose", LOL! After all, I came onto the old H2O board as a JW--rarin' to go and defending my faith......and you see how THAT turned out!

I have been going round and round with a JW who emailed me after I trolled in the comment section of an MSN article about JW's roofing worldlings' homes in the aftermath of Katrina by saying that I would like to worship Jesus with the JW's. Finally after several circular emails I just got so fed up with his red herrings and labeling of all who leave the WTBTS as deviants and sex maniacs that I sent him an email exposing the WTBTS for what it really is. A false prophet with numerous characteristics associated with cults..

I received an email (from that same article) from a JW named Klemetti......I never replied. I recognized his name from eons ago on different forums or whatever.....and I just didn't want to waste my time.

I wil respond to some of these types of emails, depending on how they are worded and if I know who they are, LOL! Sincere questioners are never ignored....jerks are.
