someone yesterday emailed me and thanked me for helping them change the way they "viewed the world" and their life. that was heavy... but an amazing compliment.

oh, and i over heard the receptionist at work tell someone that she thought i was cute the other day. she didn't know i was standing right on the other side of a wall in the copy room still. so not really a compliment, but more an accidental compliment. i wink at her now. sexual harasment, i love it!

A friend who I email (fading JW) told me the other day that my emails were helping her through a difficult situation she was in. That made me feel really good.

I put a T-shirt on tonight, to wear under my sweatshirt, and before i could put the sweatshirt on, my son shouted, "Holy crap mom!! You look awesome...You've lost a lot of weight!"" and my daughter was stunned also....I was a wee bit surprised, as i always wear bulky clothes, so I don't notice it...and apparently, neither have they until now. (Made my night, i went out with a skip in my walk)

Every night my husband tells me what a good cook I am. Last night, he finished his dinner, and took my hand and said "marrying you was the best decision I ever made". That was cool.

And then, today at Office Depot, I was chatting with the clerk about grandchildren, and she said "surely you don't have grandchildren. You're much too young".....................I thought she was trying to butter me up because I may not look 60 but I do look like a grandma. Grandmas can be under 40 and I definitely look at least over 50 and then some.
