  How does one have an 'accidental brush with pornography' ?

  "Oh, I just happened into the video store to get some childrens movies, I was shoved into the "adults only' section by one of Satan's angels as I looked at the various Disney selections. I could not help but look over the titles in the adult section to see just how wicked the world has become. One of the movies accidently fell into my hands and was inadvetantly checked out with the others. When I was previewing these movies before the children could see them, I mistakenly began to watch the entire porn flick that I had accidently brought home. I felt so guilty that I rushed to the bathroom to loose my lunch, due to this great sin I had committed. Lo and behold I had an unfortunate erectile incident and began to fall into maturbatory sins too. I will be meeting with the body of elders soon to discuss my fate."

  I also have a friend in the video game industry, he told me "satan" clocks in just like everyone else, gets his two 30 minute breaks, was considered for a promotion to "master developer" but was turned down because he was spending too much time on the "chicken little" video game....Actually "satan" was the mastermind behind the idea where "chicken little" dies at the end of the game from bird flu.

  I find the education thing very interesting. They are really scared to death of this, aren't they? And with good

  IMHO the WTS' "Elders' School" serves to discourage many brothers. I know that when I attended back in the 70's I felt that they were loading a ton of bricks on us.

  After the chortle, was there a wave of slight amusement, or an uncomfortable shifting in seats? Just curious if the majority of the attendees were family types who have to make their own arrangements.

  I would call it amusement. An awful lot seemed to be lapping up every word.

  There seemed to be a disproportionate number of older elders there, many 70 & over. I would have thought they might have seen the irony, hearing the message they ignored over the past 40 years repeated again, now that they are likely having to work as Wal-Mart greeters or McDoanld's cashiers, but they seemed to enjoy it.

  The Society tells the elders to stop being materialistic, yet it hordes 100's of millions and spends it on lavish complexes out at Patterson that do not even have one printing facility. What hypocrites. The Society is obsessed with newer and better buildings, thus many elders reflect the same attitude when it comes to their family home, even after the kids are gone.

  I'm amazed they havn't been hammering the internet. Surely that is now the bigger threat than materialism.

  And again we see that the rock that the organisation is built up on is not Jesus Christ. The foundation upon which JW-world is built up on is a perpetually reinforced expectation that THE END IS NIGH.

  Thanks for taking the time to post this! We just had our Circuit Assembly and the CO mentioned those three examples of "debased behavior" too.

  This is truly sad. How many generations of people do we have to see growing old and having no pensions (like me) who were told we wouldn't need them. I wish it were possible to sue the WT and win in court to collect all the money every single person would have received had they gone to college, earned more than they do now at McDonald's, and also the amount for a decent pension (let's not forget medical coverage). How many billions of dollars would that amount to? This alone would finish the WT forever.
