I believe most long time JWs (at least the ones I know) would not be surprised to know that a JW could do such a thing. Fortunately behavior such as this is NOT typical of JWs as a group any more than it is typical of religious groups in general. The GB and elders may try to deny such going on's but many of the R&F aren't buying it anymore.

Yes, the media and the public are concerned about this type of deception on the internet. Whole divisions are set up in law enforcement to monitor this. Why shouldn't they be appalled that someone from a group who sets themselves up as the only true Christians should do such a thing. A group that sends people to their doors, doors that children answer.
