Yes, creative minds can be tortured. There are a lot of us in my family like that.
Like Penn, I do not believe in a loving caring personal God. Yet I accept the reality of a Source, a Ground of Being, immanent-transcendent-incarnate.
Yeah, maybe God is really some nutcase Mormon man who died. Since he tithed faithfully, he's now been handed is own earth to rule over. And unfortunately, we all landed on this Mormon God's planet.

- The theory that the self is the only thing that can be known and verified.
- The theory or view that the self is the only reality.
I'll bet anyone 3 bucks James Thomas shows up.
If you had, Gumster, you would now be out an entire week's allowance.
Actually, solipsism, is just the opposite of what I mention. Solipsism, is a contraction and isolation of the tiny believed self that can not be seen out of. Here, all that is known is the interpretation of the mind, and our entire "life" happens within a pod and for all we know this is all there is.
Now take away the pod, the boundaries, peripheries and obstructions, and you get closer to what I attempt to speak of.

Too true. My own creativity used to be like that. Born of darkness. Now, though, its born of life.
