Yep! Yesterday we went and cut down our own tree from one of those tree farms. We decorated it last night and I put the six presents we had underneath it. This is year 2 with a tree and I still have "guilty" feelings now and then. It is strange and annoying at the same time. That brainwashing was strong.

I didn't celebrate the first Christmas after leaving the lie, but I've celebrated every one since then (2000 onwards).
I will be putting my tree up next week, and I don't feel a tinge of guilt about it anymore. In fact, if any of my former friends called here, I'd invite em in to see it.
I agree the brain washing is very strong. I still get guilt feelings about stuff too.
It gets better in time. The guilt becomes less - the more hypocrisy you see

I put my decorations up more than 2 weeks ago but I have kids so I have an excuse, I've bought most of the xmas presents but I still have to keep an eye out for stocking fillers.
Can't wait!!
