Once again people were either to tired or to ummm preoccupied to post after the gathering today.

It was a great event for me since I saw an old friend from 7 years ago..another former bethelite who left the Org before me. We were good friends at Bethel and it was great to re-aquaint ourselves as free persons!!!

Got a chance to get to know others much better. My inmpression of HadEnough has gone up about 18 notches. What a phenomenal lady!! Though we still didn't manage to get her up on the table to dance. sigh .... maybe September....

ExpatBrit ... what can I say ... Hope that stain came out of your pants...I still didn't get a straight answer from you what that stain on your ass was from...... Though one of the female posters enjoyed regularly looking to figure it out...you know who you are!!!!

Peter...thanks for organising yet another successful event. I am really looking forward to the September event. Considering there were only two females for all us guys....we could sure use more estrogen at our next event.....

    Had a blast yet again.

I was wondering about those red stains too...hmmm.....will ExpatBrit admit to where they came from?

At least, at our next Apostofest III in September, we have quite a few more ladies confirmed to come, just to balance things out!

What's this about a red stain on expat's pants?? Just what DO you people get up to at these apostofests anyway???

    Glad my tickets are confirmed!!

Me - too tired to post? I just got home and too coffeed-up to sleep yet.

I was going to wait until the rest posted, especially Expat since we never quite know what he's going to say. He knows too well how easily I blush but what a super guy. Sure hope that stain comes out though.

What another great time we had. No - no table dancing for me...but on the dancefloor..now that's a different story. My middle name is ...no better not say...I'll never hear the end of it.

Really we just talked and talked and talked and got to know each other even better, and I like we said....it is so much nicer to talk face to face than "screen to screen" and forming these warm friendships.

Kismet - such a keen sensitive guy. Mature, balanced and yet watch out when his humour kicks in with Peter and Expat..what a mixture..never quite sure what's going to happen next.

Enjoyed visiting with Chris again, so knowledgeble and witty and a doting dad, and meeting his lovely ex-wife and 2 beautiful kids. Hope she can join us again too. And it was nice to see storm68 again ( another great dad, keen thinker and been through so much crap from the JWs) and his cute young son. What a little gentleman he is.

    Expat..let's see..quiet, mild exterior...except for when he...no can't say it...funny,dry wit..totally disarming. I just remembered..what happened to your promised sonnets and Shakespeare?

Peter is such a gentleman, a funny and fun guy and a caring host, picking such a nice variety of places to visit and helping this country gal to learn her way around the big city. Really Peter, I had a terrific time and I'm glad to call you my friend.

    Sob, choke..I'm verklempt...talk amongst yourselves...hehe

Really ladies....Somebody, safe, think4, Tina and whoever else...you're in for a fun time next month. Looking forward to meeting you all then and making a weekend of it.

Sorry we missed pathofthorns, moxy and outnfree...hope you make it next time too!

Well...I got up late today (it's Sunday after all...but here in Toronto it's Rainday) just in time to catch the end of the Hungarian Formula 1 Grand Prix.

I had a great time last night with everyone! Lot's of interesting discussions, lots of jokes and laughs, lots of beers....(Kismet you baaaad influence!)...not that I objected! (wink wink)

I think a few people held out on us last night (by not showing up), knowing that the next time (Apostofest III on September the 15th) will the BIG one! But we still missed you guys, including Mox, Path, Out, Grace (she called in sick), and a few others that shall remain nameless for now...

    See yah all soon!

Er, well..um...yes..the stain on the ass. Well..um..fortunately it came out in the laundry, so the evidence is gone. But Had Enough, please next time wear a lipstick that's not quite so obvious!

Peter, my thanks as well for your organising work, these apostofests are a um, godsend to those of us who have to basically rebuild the structure of our social life.

Had Enough, ignore the above lipstick comment please! You are a true lady in every sense of the word and it's a pleasure to be getting to know you!

Kismet, you're a trouble maker and if you were not such a big, muscular, strapping guy I'd probably taunt you a bit. I do however enjoy your balanced viewpoints on things. Except pant stains.

Chris, intelligent and entertaining as always, and thank you for introducing us to your family. Hoping you all can come again next month!

Storm, your boy frightened the willies out of me by talking about rollercoasters. Please discipline him accordingly. It was good to see you again, though, old chap!

Right, I'm off to find some non-stick pants.

    Hi Guys,

Sounds like ya'll had a great time. Wish I had been there, especially since there was such an abundance of testosterone!! I'm used to that(living with hubby and 3 teenage boys).

I am GREATLY looking forward to next month! And Moxy better be there, or I'll rub his fur the wrong way just to irritate him.

Safe and I had a little mini 'fest yesterday. We met up with Roro and his lovely wife and little girl. It was great to be able to talk face to face with them...so much in common. He he, we all admitted to having misgivings before hand thinking "What if these people are just weird?" Needless to say, that wasn't the case! At least, I hope that's what Roro says,

    See you all next month

    Hey Think41,

I'm glad your mini "fest" went well yesterday. I know what you mean about initial apprehension when first meeting...

A few of us had that apprehension last month when we first got together...but any apprehension that we had evaporated within the first few minutes. It was really nice to be able to talk & relate with others that had been through the same expreriences as us!

Yesterdays Apostofest was nicer in that we got to know each other a bit better, and we were able to joke around with each other a lot more! We were one relaxed bunch!

I'm looking forward to the next one when you gals (& some guys) come up from the US!

And who knows who's going to get some "red stuff" on the seat of their pants next time! Hmmm.....

    Waaaaaaaaaaaaah!

    I missed all the fun!

Expat -- I laughed so hard and loud at your lipstick remark (and Had_Enough will, too) -- that my family thinks I'm absolutely bonkers!!!

Next month, I have that unfortunate company picnic. However, I am going to see if I can't sneak up on Friday to see Think & Safe beFORE Apostofest III or later on Sat. so we can spend some time on Sunday before they go home! Maybe if I give Peter my cell # he can keep me posted as you change venues Sat. PM -- because the problem with Sunday AM is the possibility of big time sleepiness & hangovers?!!!
Just thinkin' out loud here, kids!

Glad you all had a GREAT time!
