I met my partner at work. It was one of those things where you meet someone and immediately know that they will play some important part in your life. After getting to know her better I knew what that part would be. We've been together 4 years now.

My husband and I were sent to training by our company, along with several others. They put us up at a n extended stay hotel that served a free evening meal at the clubhouse, and we hit it off. When the classes ended, he suggested we could still have dinner sometimes. I said I wasn't interested in dating anybody, to which he said, it would only be dinner, and definitely not a date. That fooled me, and we dated for about nine months when he asked me to get married, I said I had no intention of marrying anybody and he said "O.K." On the third time he asked me, I said "Yes" and we've been married for five years.
