I'm straight....well to a point. You know,,,,if that right guy, hot, in shape, lot of money came and swept me off my feet...well. Who know's? I could learn to be gay....after all it's a choice isn't it? LOL
after all it's a choice isn't it? LOL
oooo controversial my man! Is it? Sometimes I think so but when I find myself following a hot blonde down the street or tackling a baby brunette in the pub loos I'm not so sure I have any choice in the matter at all!
arrowstar - you are lovely and you know it!
aw shucks...
Now, regarding the topic...if someone wants to marry someone, who am I to stop them? Think of all the "marriages" that get people there green card. Why are those allowed and the union of two same sex partners who love each other are not?
Weddings are lovely to look at and a challenge to plan. I never had the "big white gown" wedding. You know the one. The one they say every little girl longs for all her life. Well, yes, there was a time I did long for it. Just never got it due to whatever circumstances there were at the moment. It's not the wedding that matters. It's the one who wants to share a part of their life with you that matters.
Trust me on this one. A piece of paper and a white gown do not necessarily make for a happy union regardless of whether or not the couple is straight or gay.
I'll be gettin' off my soapbox now and returning to the chores. (home today because of the ice storm last night)

I've been flirting with Ms. Arrowstar for quite some time now.Well good for you brother. Cuz if there is anyone who could make a gay man straight it'd be arrow...
I just saw this now. Curse my slow typing fingers.
Thank you, honey.

What the heck they screw with or without being married. But what bothers me is now they other mate can get medical and other benefits that the UK can't afford anyway so the more that get married the less benefits for you.
That's a problem with socialism, not gay marriage.
i saw a springer episode where a guy married his horse. heh it was pretty funny
Let em marry they should be allowed to be miserable like the rest of us.
coming home from work and coppin ear 'ole all night might stop them being so damn cheery all the time.
not that theres anything wrong with that...
ps hey funky derek whats crackin man
Its been legal here in Massachusetts for a while. My town is the only town in Massachusetts that will marry out of state same sex couples. There is a law on our books that an out of state person may not get married within the Commonwealth. Our mayor - who is also Gay doesn't feel that rule is applicable and instructs the town clerk not to follow the law.
I personally don't care about the adults...I care about the children that come from these unions that they will be protected and afforded the rights they deserve...the same rights given to children of a man/woman couple.

I don't see why there's any problem. Either you believe in the Bible, or you don't. It's impossible for it to be more clear. Please look it up. Try Leviticus 20:13, Leviticus 18:22, 1 Timothy 1:10, Romans 1:24-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10. If these verses leave any doubt as to what the Bible (remember, it's God's word) means, you obviously have chosen to believe only the parts which don't inconvenience you or force you to actually do something about your erroneous lifestyle.
No doubt everyone is aware the UK has Weaponsh'a Mash Dishtrukshun (which is easier to pronounce than noocyooler weapons).
I imagine this will be seen as "a threat to the very fabric of our society" and that these civil unions will be cast in some way as a "grave terrist threat."
I hope the UK isn't given an ultimatum to destroy all its WMD or face the wrath of the US military, 'cause that would wreak havoc on "Prophecy Time" at the local Kingdom Hall.
