I have been to New York. I know ALL about the WTBTS. Respectfully, I think you are just NIT PICKING at them because of the bad experience you had. I am sorry for that. There are other religious ORG. and NON religious ORG who are tax exempt who hide behind curtains. The WTBTS are doing society a great Justice by making, dispensing, Spiritual food that if applied will lead to their everlasting future. What other ORG can and is doing that?
P.S No one still gave me an EXAMPLE. Please give oneThey are a drain on all the city's resources that are paid for through taxes.

I think there are other religious orgs who do a much better job and have way better magazines and books than the society.
The site above that I posted is just one of many.

Exactly what do you mean "example"
People have given you many examples and you either don't see them or are just palin ignoring them.
If the society in which we live has laws for people to pay taxes to support that the services provided then having a huge complex in the neighborhood that does not pay taxes there winds up being a financial burden on those who do pay taxes.
Heck Even the Vatican does not expect Italy to pay for the services within the Vatican

Holy hell, there are actually people in the world who buy this sort of logic. Totally got a JW flashback there for a second.

Someone brought up Trash services. Check
If there is an emergency - Firefighter/Police/EMT Services.
Keeping the area safe - Again Police
I mean what do taxes really go for? City infrastructure - Roads/subways/public transport
Public Hospitals - You can't say that no bethelites have ever been sick and needed the doctor.
Public Safety
Education
City/State/Federally sponsored programs to help the citizenry. - Heck the WTS doesn't help its own members in crisis usually, why would they care about this? (and I don't mean helping put on a roof after katrina...I'm talking day to day needs of its 'parishoners.')
etc. etc. That's what the taxes pay for. That's what they're not paying for...but they sure use a significant portion of these tax-funded departments/services.
