Here are 2 good examples from 'the thread' of what I was talking about.
BI am not going to say anything to any of my active JW freinds YET, not until the NEWS comes out, BUT WHEN IT DOES, I will be notifying quite a few across the US,I've been going through and updating my JW addresses getting ready to print labels. Once this thing breaks I'll be running off letters and mailing them. I have over 100 addresses of JW's and relatives of JW's
DAVE ----- Mostly, I have found you to be an intelligent man. But frankly, I didn't call the BIG NEWS bullshit, but the sharing of " BIG NEWS COMING" as bullshit! How do you prepare for something you don't know about. You wait and act appropriately when you KNOW the facts! Ones have told me to take valium, have a drink, calm down! COME ON, who needs to calm down??!!! Speculation has run wild!! What good does it do? Some aren't sleeping, some are checking the site every hour! What will be will be!

Sorry I misunderstood you. It is being done this way for a specific purpose. The key is to get the news out as fast and as wide as possible before the GB has a chance to come up with a bullshit response. They have to decide by committee whether to scratch their butts or not and they wont have time to do it this time. This is going to completely take them off guard. The system that they say they are no part of but use and hide behind when ever they fell like it is going to shove it right back in their face. They will have no control over it. The news is dependant on something to happen that has not yet happened but will very soon.
You have well over 30,000 hits on that her thread from all over the world. That means the second Barb reveals what it is, you’ll have thousands of people dropping their jaws and telling thousands of other people and it will completely cut off the chance for them to properly react in a timely fashion or do their usual bullshit damage control. There is a chance the media will pick up on it but this time it will not be totally dependant on their time schedule.
To me, it’s brilliant.

I have met Barbara and she is on the up and up. She is a very intelligent woman that has great insight on the Organization. She knows what she is doing, you can trust her.

Codeblue - I do trust her! I think she got very excited for a very good reason! I think it irresposible to share it the way she did! She dropped hints here and there, but only hints! SORRY - CAN'T TELL! She stirred NOTHING but speculation and anxiety!

GOOD question, Dave. I am as curious as the next one, but the endless speculation is getting on my nerves! Is it this, is it that? YOU'RE getting CLOSE! You're HOT, OH, YOU'RE getting COLD again! Barb just gave a FEW more HINTS on the BIG NEWS POST, yet she claims to be, NOT toying with EMOTION! OH GOOD, we can speculate some MORE!!! Whatever the NEWS and whatever the response to the NEWS, my thoughts.........What will be, will be!!!!!!!!!
I don't know Barb personally, I will probably NEVER meet her. She had a responsible position in the ORG. She has a work to do, as we all do! STOP BOWING TO HER and await the NEWS!!!

Peggy, it's your choice how you respond to the Big News. I'm in the government so I'm used to fits and starts. I've learned not to get excited until it happens. Please don't blame Barbara Anderson for your impatience. In a way I blame the internet, which has made us used to instant-response. Waiting is sometimes good. Helps us build character.
I'm waiting in the wings, ready to go, when I'm needed.
jgnat----I can't respond to the NEWS till I know it! When I have that info, I will respond appropriately! Am I impatient to hear? HELL NO, I've almost lost interest! I'm sure when the NEWS occurs, I will have renewed VIGOR!
