***Congratulations Myelaine! I have not read Amazing Grace in its entirety before.

No, neither had I. Even when I WAS a JW, this song always made me "get choked up" when I heard it on the radio or on tv. I can't even say why it did....since I had no prior background singing it.

I have tried many times to sing (or even hum) along to this since I am now "allowed to".....but can't get past a minute or so before I, too, get into the teary-eyed stage. It sure evokes lots of emotion, for me anyway.
