Just saw the movie last night. LOVED it! It was everything I remember it to be. I positively fell in love with little Lucy! I was very impressed with all the children's acting seeing how little experience they have. Oh, and the Alanis Morrisette song at the very end was beautiful!

The symbolism of war for right vs. wrong, paradise, reward, etc. predates the Bible. Maybe it's the Bible that is copying an old human theme rather than the other way around.
