Right now I'm listening to a brand new released CD by opera star Amelia Farrugia, "joie de vivre!"
Amelia was featured in the all-star lineup for last weekend's "Carols in the Domain" broadcast on Channel Seven. She knocked people out with her ability to rise so quickly to the high notes and sustain them. Mrs Ozzie and I have followed her career for the past few years and have seen all her operas. She actually started her career as a musical actress but has undergone training at the Conservatorium and then with opera Australia until now she's one the rising stars on the world stage. I checked with our record store and they tell me the record company, Decca, say it's sold out in a few days.
