I am not too keen on winter myself, I always seem to be ill then, lots of colds etc.

lied 21 years (oops was that a Freudian slip, I meant lived 21 years, but we were witnesses at that time!!!)
Start again.........
lived 21 years in Glasgow, Scotland. Winters pretty rugged, although we used to go to Glenshee, the closest ski field, every chance we got, but that was the only thing I liked about winter.
moved to Australia, love the warmer weather, still get some cool days in winter. Still get to the Australian Snowy Mountains a fair bit. The whole family is hooked on ski-ing/boarding. last year got 24 days at the snow. only got ten days this year, cause my husband shattered his leg (crutches for three months, still limping)
anyway, love winter, but not too much of it, love all the seasons, am ready for a change when the time comes......

I didnt know what winter was until I moved to Indiana
LOL, someone from Indiana moved to my neighborhood and said the same thing. She didn't know what winter was until she moved to the Adirondack mountains.
