I had some serious goals!
I was going to skydive (hey, nobody dies in the New System, right?)
Frolick with grizzly bears and swim with Great Whites.
Kick it with all the Bible All-Stars. (Play checkers with Moses, basketball with King David, etc.)
Invent non-poluting, non-depleting vehicles.
What were some of your delusions?
I wanted to have a huge vegetable garden and I was also planning on planting an orchard. It wouldn't matter how long it would take to get the first fruits, because I'd live forever anyways.
Losing my belief in paradise was the worst part of leaving the org.
I was going to have a tiger, to ride on, like He-man. Awesome.
And i was totally going to get all buddy buddy with Noah.
No offense intended. Now I know my husband wans't the only one off the wall in his bizzarro letter to me about the future pardise earth. I actually thought he went partially insane. Keep in mind this from a non jw. Truly, I thought he was about ready for the funny farm. You may laugh, but from my point of view it was very scary. I have told very few people about this letter. The few I have told I almost regret because they now think he is one bulb short. Or, the dull knife in the drawer. You knock and nobody answers. You get the idea. Sad but true. It is that insane sounding. But, actually quite typical of dub thinking. From the few who have emailed me their versions of insane letters.

What is it with JW kids and wanting to ride things that shouldn't or wouldn't be ridden. I wanted to ride a killer whale and waterski behind a team of dolphins. WTF?
The one thing I remember thinking was that I would eventually know everyone on earth, since reproduction would stop and we would be here forever and our minds would be perfect so we could remember everyone.

Low-Key, that's self-improvement? My impression was always self-improving before entering the New System so we can contribute to a better world! Has that changed?

Well, since I would have already been perfect, there would be no need for improvement. Just a chance to live life to the fullest.
Have all sorts of wild animals as pets,travel all over the world... and like Undecided, get to know and become friends with everyone.
I'm still confused as to what my future holds.... but this is a hope that I have a hard time letting go. It all sounds so appealing
