No there is nothing to indicate they will change and indeed it's hard to believe that they can given their very long criminal past record. They destroyed too many families and oppressed and deceived millions.

Armageddon was their way of intimidating and terrorising the R&F to whip them into doing the things that served the WTS interests. This irresponsible approach made millions hate God as a tyrrant, and that's something the FDS must answer for.

From reading the current Magazines and hearing the meeting content, I'd say it's obvious Bethel has contempt for Jehovah's Witnesses.

The bully always has contempt for those he can intimidate.

That's so true isn't it? It's turned into a bully - coward relationship.
I was going to write, parent - child relationship, but there is SOME compassion in a parent child relationship. The Society doesn't show ANY compassion to the Witness people at all.

By 'depiction' do you mean 'illustration'? The book must still surely mentions Armageddon right?

Wasn't there a very recent brochure that has some nasty scenes of Armageddon illustrated therein?

Yes, by depection I mean illustration only. It does talk about Armaggedon, in the actual text.

My experience was the same. I only remember dreaming about Armageddon once--and it was great. Fire and sulfur were raining down from the sky, mayhem was all around, while angels were protecting the faithful--and then I woke up.

hmmmmmmmmm so its just the watchtower that says this about armogeddon?i feel the bible its self says what will happen think of noahs flood.what happend to people in that day.they died horrible deaths.so dont make out this is all about the watchtower.these things come from the bible its self

And it's all the more reason to see the Bible for what it is--the mythological beliefs and ancient philosophies of a bygone era.
