Local Needs - Disfellowshipped in the family, how to treat...........

This weeks local needs basically (summed up) told us not to speak to family members that are disfellowshipped unless they live in your house, and this conversation is very necessary. Also you cannot attend funerals, and weddings, etc.

How sorry I felt for the disfellowshipped one in our hall, and the parents (everyone knew who the talk was about).

To make it even worse, after the talk was over there was another part, and then the song was to follow.... Well before the song/prayer the Presiding overseer went on stage for another 10 minutes, re-emphasing the local needs talk the other elder has done.

During the prayer... I was praying to whatever God is up there to make these Arsewipes pay for what they are doing. Those 2 minutes of prayer were getting me close to crying/screeming. I don't believe in the Jehovah of the WT, but if the bible is right about the ministry of Jesus, how can he let this go on????

I am depressed, and feel shackled in this religion. I hope they destroy themselves (GB/WT)!!

These creeps go as far as disrupting the natural parent - child bond, a very perverted act if there ever was one. THey also try to use the Bible to justify it but as usually they bring up irrelevnt verses.

Nowhere does the Bible support totally shunning "sinners" unless they go to great extremes.

Got to love thoese JW local needs marking talks. And then they try to claim as an organization they are the only ones displaying true christian love amongst brothers. They equate love with robotic loyalty to the Organization. How perverted is that?

Hopefully you dont have to remain shackled in it forever.

You know, what pisses me off the most about that stuff, is how they are such amateurs at reading the Bible. The passages in which Jesus says "I have come to set brother against brother" etc, which is what they use to justify this, is NOT a command! It is a prophecy, not a command! It`s one thing that they are evil, blackhearted sons of bithces...I can actually respect evil people, if they have brains. But I have absolutely no respect for retards, who, in addition to being so damn dumb, actually think they are such "experts" at Bible interpretation. Idiots.

I would go and find that disfellowshipped one tell them what I thought of that talk and the whole policy in general. It would probably do wonders for that person. It sounded like a fairly young individual, so therefore it was probably over sex, I would say that that is what humans do, is have sex, they are not a freak because the elders told them that they are.

Most young ones getting baptized have no idea of the implications (life) of becoming a baptized dub, and becoming susceptible to d/f.....

The result can be devastating.
