It really wasnt big news, it was Good information. But it wasnt earth shattering and i doubt that it'll get half of the attention the child abuse scandal did. I dont even blame the person who first started the post. I think it was just blown out of proportion.

Oh... THAT "big news."
While I do see the import of this journal's essay on blood and jw's, I stil fail to understand the "big" part of it and how it even qualifies as "news" in the first place. -

The whole child abuse issue is simple apostates in their desperation trying to make something out of nothing for they delight in creating controversies and making mischief. The Society is well aware of any such problems and has the matter in hand and will comply with any legal changes that countries see fit to implement in order to remove this dreaded scourge from society and its families. Perhaps if countries did more to remove pornography from their citizens or educating the people according to Bible education then many such social evils would be minimized.
The Society of Jehovah's Witnesses is the only group in the world that has committed itself by means of its organization, people and resources to international Bible education which seeks to bring good news of God's Kingdom as a permanent solution to the world's problems but to elevate the morals of people.
If apostates believe they have found a better good news or the Truth then they should energize themselves in doing the Lord's will at this time and do that work instead of throwing stones and mocking those who are doing the Lord's work.

Scholar, you are aparently unaware of studies proving that the prevalence of available pornography in a society significantly reduces the occurance of sexual crimes. -

As for the REAL reason sex crimes are commited:

I do not like pornography - I am not trying to defend it - I just want the facts straight. There is no correlation between legally availabel porn and the occurance of sex crimes and in some cases (as seen above in the Japan study) it has shown to reduce them. I would advise you, yaddayadda, to not call something nonsense just because you don't like the sound of it. -
