My father showed me a Watchtower, I thing it was Feb 1st 2006. The last sentence of the first article said something like the reader could live to see God's judgement.

Anybody has the latest issues at hand?

    Which could mean 2006 + 120 years (max) = year 2126

well don't they have insight! they really don't seem to understand that other if not ALL other major religions believe in some kind of "end of the world"/apocalypse/armageddon... so what is so insightful about that comment? why do they think they have any special knowledge just because a statement like that is made?

it's been imminent for 2000 years now... just shut up and if/when it happens, if F-ing happens.

the reader could live to see God's judgement.

You have to remember, the WTS used to say people WILL see gawd's judgment... now they only say you "could" or "might" see gawd's judgment.

As an example, I can truthfully say that the readers of this post could see a meteor the size of mars strike the earth.

If the end of the world is coming just make sure you are wearing clean underwear! And make sure you don't have soilage in them.

Did you guys catch that PMJ (our latest true-blue JW) thinks he came up with 2034 as a possible date for armageddon on his own? Recall that a Watchtower article talked about Noah "preaching" for 120 years, then the end. Then 1914 was trotted out for everyone to look at. When I first read the speculations on JWD and elsewhere about it, I blew it off.

Then outta the blue, this JW says he's thinking maybe 2034. Even after I showed him the Watchtower article, he maintained that he came up with it on his own.

Maybe. But more likely he never saw the information get planted, and when it grew he assumed it was his.

Either way, fascinating confirmation of the 2034 rumor, well in step with this "within your lifetime" crap.

Why don't we all gather together on New Year's Eve 2034 for one last drink before the big A. Wuddaya say?
