No offense Frank,
but I think the London-Sydney flight is the longest scheduled flight.
I've done both, and the flight to London/Europe is a real killer. The flight to LA is a breeze in comparision.
BTW, I have a valid passport, so anyone that is willing to pay for my flight to the US is most welcome!

Sydney to Los Angeles is the longest (about 14 hours) non-stop regularly scheduled flight. Sydney to London (about 21 hours) is not non-stop having a stopover (usually in asia) part way.
