Many of these potential global disasters, including nuclear war, have arrived at our door only in the last few decades.

    The EARTH will cease to exist at some vastly distant point in the future when the Sun gets biggers as it cools.

    The WORLD will have already changed beyond recognition at that point.

    Whether those changes wipe out man or not is another question.

    I'm with Tetrapod it might happen it might not, either way I probably won't be here by then neither will my kids, so frankly I don't care.

    Besides, i no longer waste my precious time here worrying about things that will probably never happen, I'lle cross that bridge when and if it ever comes.

    Spring Gardening here I come!
