I received my copy on Saturday too. Just finished reading it, eye opening to see the actual full quotes not just the Society's altered version. Do you think R&F members will give it a read ,or will they consider it apostate since the author attended meetings until she reached adulthood? I would hope this misrepresentation of facts will cause others to wonder(think) what other topics are likewise misrepresented. I will be sharing the information with my witness family .On the basis they know I'm doing Blood Research they may see this as an acceptable source of information to consider.Hopefully that will open the the door to share other things I've learned ,like from COC.

I received mine a few days ago and just now read it. I made myself stay away from home - (too many distractions) - and sat at the coffee house from 8:30 this am til 1:00 pm, reading and making notes, tallying up total number of misrepresentations by virtue of ommision, inaccuracies, mis-applied quotes from secular sources, and ideas for my letter-writing campaign.
I'll share it here and with the local papers, lawyers, medical establishments, etc. asap! Just can't wait to share my synopsis, and referrals to the Journal of Church and State. If Kerry Louderback-Wood did not already make a name for herself, I sense that she has now.

Copies (hard copies) are allowed so that you can give them to lawyers, doctors and hospitals or anywhere else it can be used.

Kudos to Lady Lee. That's such a nice contrast to pro-JW boards where few (If any) have legally obtained the magazine/article and they are all openly emailing it to each other.

Where do you get that?? this site is were I got the link to buy it in the first place. I have seen many many link to the site where you can but it. I say Bull shyt to the comment. YOu better tell google they can not have a link also.

I read what you posted and thought you said other X-JW sites. I had to read it 3 times before I realized you say PRO-JW sites.
Well they all seem to think they are above the law anyways.
Barbara Anderson has put a lot of work into this. The author has also put a lot of work into it. And so has the university. We were lucky enough to have gotten a heads up before the article even came out.
If we want future heads up then we are only going to get that by staying on the right side of copyright laws now.
Plus I don't think Simon needs a lawsuit on his hands

Time will tell, but I think the chance at winning the legal lotto might be enough to turn the average JW against the Watchtower. It's a distinct possibility. Especially since many JWs are figuring out the Watchtower lied and conned them out of getting more education for a better job using their Armageddon hoax for the umpteenth time. And the Society has stupidly painted itself in a corner only because they couldn't admit they were wrong about their blood doctrines long ago. But how could they admit they were wrong about something that has killed countless JWs needlessly and still claim to be the only mouthpiece of Jehovah? They couldn't. Let's hope they get their legal comeuppance with plenty of dollops of publicity. If one case is won against them over this issue, word will spread like wildfire.
