Does anyone know if Englishman is having an apostabbq this year. I haven't got time to trawl through zillions of threads looking - so hoping you can direct me if there is a new thread etc!
Last year was brilliant and if I can walk by summer time after my next operation I definitely want to be there and do singalongs with katiekitten again!

So glad to hear you enjoy our BBQs! Yes, we are planning one this year - 3pm Saturday July 8th and afterwards in the Waverley as usual.
As well as our local friends we are anticipating some American ex's, Norm and Kent from Norway and a number of ex's from our locality. We are opening our little garden to you all - if you are an ex JW you are welcome. As usual we will provide food and music (Jeff is DJing for us this year as he did 2 years ago) - just bring a bottle.
This BBQ is also celebrating Mike's 60th - he is looking forward to getting his free bus pass (and he tells me he is expecting a selection of virgins - too many episodes of 'Rome').

Mike's BBQs are legendary now. I remember telling Mike one year you only had to put Mike's BBQ Jehovah's Witness in a google search and it pointed to a post about his BBQ.
I've been going for a few years, I remember the first time was the best, meeting ex-jw's for the first time was an amazing experience, even posting back on the board had kinda lost it's magic after the "real thing".
Can I come? If so where is it? PLEASE!!!!!?????????
