    yadda...

and in that case, it should be somewhere other than the RELIGION section.

more like the corporate biz section, human rights, anywhere but religion is where it belongs.

The Watchtower must be so proud of themselves to have gotten that info off the web for almost a week, at the mere expense of thousands of dollars of "voluntary contributions"... Dave

Does anyone really know how much an hour it cost the WTBT$ to keep the information suppressed for less than 168 hours?

No, but they did use an outside firm, so they prolly paid normal rates. You wanna figure $400/hr? And maybe 30 hours spent? $12,000.

I'm just guessing. They're Canadians, so in American that's like, what? Ten bucks? Maybe it wasn't that much after all... :-)

Good. That much less literature they can vomit out of their printing presses.

What I find especially odious about this is my in-law's are quite poor and not in a position to give much. They give some, but not much. In their whole lives, they won't give $12,000. And the Watchtower pissed it away to attack poor ol' Quotes. Disrupted his life, hurt his finances, caused stress for him and his family. And for what? To get THEIR OWN literature out of the public's view -- which is of course the very reason my poor in-law's have contributed all this time, to get the literature INTO the public view.

Grrr.... too much anger, not enough beer....

Uhhh Sorry Dave the Canadian dollar is at over 86 cents American and projected to be even with the American dollar this year. So no it was more than 10 bucks.

LOL! Dave, ya sly rotten bastard, quit makin' fun of our dollar or I'll send the Witnesses to yer door!! FYI.......our dollar is actually gone up quite a bit over the last couple of years.......I think it's worth about 85 U.S. now........My dad told me a long time ago in a galaxy far far away (the late 1960s) where our Canuck dollar was actually worth more than the the American dollar......

Anyhoo, I'm thrilled to death that Quotes is back up and running.........surely this is another fine indication that Jehovah is blessing all these 'postate websites. (clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap.)

Well done IT and dorayakii !

and anyone else who mailed the press about this .. It just shows that it IS worth it to publicise and take action. Look at what was achieved in getting the UN to put that letter on their website.. "power to the people"
