I just realized I never posted what I thought of my job! Normally, it's #1 or #2, but today, it felt like #10.

Same here. We're doing annual reviews and pay increases. The corporate office decided we would have an increase of 3% as the maximum we could give the employees. I had a couple that deserved more and I gave them all I could sqeeze and them they totally went off on me in the review, like I had decided they would only get 3.5%. I went out of my way, argued with my boss for that extra 0.5% for them and then get blasted for it by the employee. I kinda felt betrayed. Hell, all I got was 3% and I was thankful.

I work from home...I had a partnership with a friend that didn't work out...thought I had to go work for someone else in an office setting, and I have been interviewing here and there....BUT...out of the blue one of my mentors offered me the chance to do some contract work for her, and still work from the house. Cannot beat that!

So mostly a #1!

The .25 is because it is an industry I am recruiting that I have not done in years, so it is taking a little bit of time to find my "groove".

about a 9 on the Mary Scale...but I cured that. Resigned/retired 1 31 06............ have a start up business in mind and may go back to working with tools in my old trade to take up the slack this summer.........

the incompentency of the managers who I worked for finally put me over the edge.... these people are so damned busy being "nice" the accountability never happens and safety enforcment suffers...so after 8 years of being the "new blood to help up change" I'm outta here.

God bless their souls...........

I love my job, wouldn't trade it - but it does have frustrating moments!

Def a 9. I hate hate hate my job .

The only reason im there is because he allows me to work the days that my son is in kinder....and the extra money is handy.

But he treats me like crap i have no accountancy background, he said he would train me he hasnt and then he puts me down everytime i get it wrong which is most of the time.

The other day he said he adjusted the chair especially for me!!!! Implying that i was FAT i know that i am but still.
