Wifey and I like 'American Idol' when it gets down to the last 10 or so. I don't know where they are in the mix - didn't see it - but I hate the early stuff where all the people come on that think they can sing and sound like sick geese in a clamp!

I love House- I miss it too, but I like American Idol too, and it is only for a couple of weeks. I love to watch the intro shows: people come out of the woodwork and are convinced they are the best singer to grace the face of the earth. I gotta wonder about people like that... but it does make for some great entertainment. I know... maybe I'm sad to enjoy it, but hell, if they sing THAT bad and they dare try out for a TV show knowing that it may end up on TV, really there is no one to blame but themselves. I love to sing, but even I know that I really shouldn't do it outside of the privacy of my own home no matter how much I enjoy it! I know I'm tone deaf!

See, that's the ONLY part I like. And I'm ashamed to admit that I even watch that much of it. Reality TV is a waste of airtime and brain space. I think Simon's hilarious - how can you not laugh at someone who takes himself so seriously.
